Integrating MD Consult onto your institution's Intranet is a great way to show your patrons what resources are available to them. We encourage you to link MD Consult within your website and offer you the following guidelines to get the most out of your linking.
Lists of Resources
Whenever you mention an MD Consult resource on your website, please be sure to credit MDC as the source. If you have a discrete list of MD Consult resources, then you only need to use a single credit line or graphic for the entire list. If MD Consult resources are interspersed in lists of other institutional resources, then each MDC resource will need to have its own credit. A simple text credit is enough or you may use any of our graphics under the "Download Logos" link on the left. An up-to-date listing of MDC content can always be found under "Listing MDC Content" on the left.
Framing
The MD Consult service uses HTML that will supercede other framesets, so please do not try to frame our website. Eventually the entire MDC frameset will reload and the initial framing will be lost. In addition, MD Consult navigation is designed to be very complete. If another layer of framing is added, the content display frame could become too small to be useful.
